Installation

Automatic installation

Automatic installation is the easiest option as WordPress handles the file transfers itself and you don’t need to leave your web browser. To do an automatic install of the WooCommerce 8Pay plugin, log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to the Plugins menu and click “Add New”.

In the search field type “8Pay Payment Gateway” and click Search Plugins. Once you’ve found our plugin you can view details about it such as the point release, rating, and description. Most importantly, of course, you can install it by simply clicking “Install Now”, then “Activate”.

Manual installation

The manual installation method involves downloading our plugin and uploading it to your web server via your favorite FTP application. The WordPress codex contains instructions on how to do this here.

Superb! Easy and fast way to charge crypto on my store

I added 8Pay as a solution to all of my sites and a few of my customers as an alternative way of payment. Now I can finally have sales directly in crypto and the beauty of all, it goes directly to my metamask wallet, no bank, no organization or payment processor. To install it all I had to do is add it as you add any other module on wordpress, woocommerce and configure it following the guide on their website. Since some of my clients have also subscriptions it was difficult for them to find a payment gateway to allow subscriptions, and when you do use one it is always a lengthy process to get vetted.
