CelerKit – Subscriptions, Loyalty Program, Gift Cards & More for WooCommerce

Description

CelerKit brings the tools that usually take a stack of WooCommerce plugins into one: subscriptions, a loyalty program, gift cards, everyday store tweaks, and more modules on the way. Switch on only the ones you need; the rest stay idle, so your store stays fast. ⚑

🧩 Pick your modules

  • 🎁 Gift Cards: sell gift cards with scheduled delivery, redeemable right at checkout.
  • ⭐ Points & Rewards: reward paid orders with points that customers redeem for a discount.
  • πŸ” Subscriptions: sell recurring products with trials, sign-up fees and automatic renewals.
  • πŸ› οΈ Store Tweaks: sequential order numbers, Buy Now, purchase limits and payment rules.

Gift Cards and Points & Rewards are on after activation; everything else starts switched off. Turn modules on or off from one menu.

🎁 Gift Cards

  • Sell gift cards as their own WooCommerce product type
  • Cards are issued automatically once the order is paid, each with an encrypted code
  • Pick a delivery date: the card activates that day and lands in the recipient’s inbox πŸ“¬
  • Shoppers apply, remove and spend cards right in the Cart and Checkout blocks
  • Recipient details work on the classic product page and with Cart and Checkout blocks
  • Customers see each card’s balance, expiry and activity under My Account
  • They can add a code someone gave them and see funds an unpaid order is holding
  • An append-only ledger tracks every balance change, so spends and refunds add up

⭐ Points & Rewards

  • Customers earn points on paid orders
  • They redeem points for a tax-aware discount in the Cart and Checkout blocks
  • Points used at checkout are held, and returned if the cart empties or time runs out
  • Refunds take points back in proportion, even when the customer has already spent them
  • Every customer gets a full points history on their account page and in the admin
  • Manual adjustments keep an audit trail
  • Points data is included in WordPress personal data exports

πŸ” Subscriptions

  • Turn any simple product into a subscription, with an optional one-time purchase choice
  • Free trials, sign-up fees and a fixed number of billing cycles
  • Renewal orders are created on schedule and charged automatically πŸ’³
  • Card renewals go through the official WooCommerce Stripe Gateway, in any checkout
  • The built-in PayPal gateway handles checkout, free trials, renewals and refunds
  • Other gateways fall back to a renewal order the customer pays from My Account
  • Customers cancel and reactivate from their account, and both of you see the full timeline
  • Lifecycle emails keep customers in the loop

πŸ› οΈ Store Tweaks

  • Sequential order numbers: atomic, never duplicated, and searchable with HPOS
  • Buy Now buttons: skip the cart and go straight to checkout
  • Purchase limits: cap quantities per product, variation or cart
  • Payment-method rules: show or hide a gateway by order amount or customer country

⚑ Built for modern WooCommerce

  • High-Performance Order Storage (HPOS) works whether it is on or off
  • Native Cart and Checkout blocks support, and classic checkout keeps working too
  • Renewals run in the background through Action Scheduler
  • A fast React admin lives in its own CelerKit menu, right below WooCommerce
  • With WooCommerce Subscriptions active, our Subscriptions module steps aside

πŸ”’ Your data stays yours

  • No telemetry and no usage tracking
  • Ledgers live in their own indexed tables in your database
  • Your data survives uninstall unless you delete it under CelerKit Tools & Status

🎯 Made for stores like

  • A coffee roaster with monthly bean subscriptions and holiday gift cards
  • A fashion boutique rewarding repeat customers with points they spend on their next order
  • A limited-drop shop capping quantities and sending buyers straight to checkout
  • A store that invoices by order number and needs clean sequential numbers for its accountant
  • A store selling abroad that hides cash on delivery outside its home country

βœ… Requirements

  • WordPress 6.6+ and PHP 8.1+
  • WooCommerce 9.0+
  • Card renewals need the free WooCommerce Stripe Gateway; PayPal needs nothing extra

External services

  • PayPal: when you enable the bundled PayPal gateway, CelerKit sends order totals, currency, order references and saved PayPal payment tokens to the PayPal REST API to take payments, charge renewals, issue refunds and verify webhooks. Terms, privacy.
  • Stripe: card payments run through the separate WooCommerce Stripe Gateway plugin. CelerKit makes no requests to Stripe itself.

Installation

  1. Install and activate WooCommerce 9.0 or newer.
  2. Go to Plugins Add New Plugin, search for CelerKit, then install and activate it.
  3. Open CelerKit in the admin menu, right below WooCommerce.
  4. On the Modules screen, switch on the modules you want.
  5. Set each one up from its own tab, and you’re ready to sell. πŸŽ‰

Selling card subscriptions? Also install the official WooCommerce Stripe Gateway.

FAQ

Do I have to use every module?

No. Gift Cards and Points & Rewards are on after activation and everything else starts switched off. Modules you switch off stay idle, so they won’t slow your store down, and you can turn them on or off at any time without losing data.

Is CelerKit free?

Yes. Everything on this page is included, automatic subscription renewals too.

What do I need to run it?

WordPress 6.6+, PHP 8.1+ and WooCommerce 9.0+. To charge subscription renewals to cards, also install the official WooCommerce Stripe Gateway. The built-in PayPal gateway needs nothing extra.

Can I use it alongside WooCommerce Subscriptions?

Not at the same time. While WooCommerce Subscriptions is active, CelerKit’s Subscriptions module switches itself off, so no renewal is ever charged twice. Your settings and subscriptions are kept, and the module comes back once WooCommerce Subscriptions is deactivated.

How are subscription renewals charged?

CelerKit creates each renewal order on schedule and charges the saved payment method: cards through the WooCommerce Stripe Gateway, PayPal through the built-in gateway. If a gateway can’t charge automatically, the customer gets a renewal order to pay from My Account.

What can my customers do from My Account?

Check gift card balances and add codes they were given, see their points history, and cancel or reactivate their subscriptions.

Can a gift card be delivered on a chosen date?

Yes. Shoppers pick a delivery date from tomorrow onwards. The card stays inactive until that day, then it’s activated and emailed to the recipient. Cancelling or refunding the order before then cancels the delivery.

Does it work with HPOS and the Cart and Checkout blocks?

Yes. CelerKit works with High-Performance Order Storage on or off, and supports the Cart and Checkout blocks as well as classic checkout.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?

Nothing is deleted unless you ask for it. Set data retention to “delete” under CelerKit Tools & Status first; only then does deleting the plugin remove its tables and settings. Deactivating never removes data.

Does CelerKit track my store?

No. There’s no telemetry or usage tracking. The only outside service it talks to is PayPal, and only after you enable the PayPal gateway.

Where can I get help or suggest a feature?

Ask in the support forum. Have an idea for a new module? Tell us.
