Conceptually, it is exactly what I was looking for. However, it will need more testing to find out if it is compatible with all the themes, plugins and pagebuilders I use. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/68d12b0bc5a279b854b74161cd3746f387b7549281de909163cf0399cd53e706? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[it works](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/it-works-2229/)󠁿 [ntalam](https://profiles.wordpress.org/ntalam/) 16, Xineru de 2022 it is not an automated tool, but it updates the filenames properly ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/4a96fe6ced5ed8e649d60d5dc6d9f458b196a6b765b3f0188d96c5ee9d9a4581? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Very useful](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/very-useful-2721/)󠁿 [Sten](https://profiles.wordpress.org/stentch/) 12, Xunu de 2021 Lightweight and i recommment it to anyone who needs to edit the media and their url. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/fd1d58ce44ef22dd5be33ba7dff3235101a6ab0102776b77dda7ccbd30c23405? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[It Works!](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/it-works-2125/)󠁿 [Curtis](https://profiles.wordpress.org/salsafire/) 8, Xunu de 2021 Thank you for the plugin development. Saved me months of work.](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/fantastic-program-saved-me-months-of-work/)󠁿 [Rogerthat](https://profiles.wordpress.org/sewingalot/) 5, Marzu de 2020 This saved the day! Phoenix Media Rename completely crashed my site on several occasions due to it using up all my shared allowance with just a few moments of work. Which further resulted in many broken images that destroyed my website and social media presence. I was about to give up hope when I stumbled across this gem. Within a day, I had renamed nearly 25k images and was able to repair much of the damage done by the other program. This was a life saver. Wish I had found it first. Read the instructions carefully to avoid issues with images linked on other sources. Since my website was already destroyed by the other plugin, I went ahead and renamed without abandon. If I had a huge social media presence, I would be wary of renaming file names. ![](https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/b8326e34ae7532e495af9b2e592228cd5209287712a2b75639d219366a2ca463? s=60&d=retro&r=g) ### 󠀁[Very Useful Plugin!](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/very-usefull-plugin-111/)󠁿 [Leandro Keene Manalon](https://profiles.wordpress.org/leandrokeenecmanalon/) 29, Xineru de 2020 1 reply Very Useful Plugin!
