jQuery Updater

Description

This plugin updates jQuery to the latest official stable version, which is most likely not available within the latest stable release of WordPress.
jQuery Migrate is also included for backwards compatibility.

No files are replaced, therefore deactivation of this plugin returns your site to it`s original state.

Since WordPress 5.6 includes an up-to-date version of jQuery 3, upgrading shouldn’t`t be necessary in most cases.

There is no any type of code review before submit an update, my site broken twice after “wrong” update. I do not recommend this plugin.

When I check my jquery version it’s 1.11.3. I’m getting hit on my “Best Practice” rating because of security issues relating to my jscript so I used this to update. I did nothing and I couldn’t find any options after it installs.

2.0.0.1 / 2.0.0.2

2.0.0

jQuery 2.0 has the same API as jQuery 1.9, but does not support Internet Explorer 6, 7, or 8. All the notes in the jQuery 1.9 Upgrade Guide apply here as well.
